Heritage Village Manesar to add two new restaurants, health club-cum-spa

Heritage Village Manesar, a high-end luxury resort by Select Hotels in Delhi’s NCR territory plans to add two new restaurants and a health club-cum-spa to its existing facilities. One of the restaurants will be an English Grill, which is expected to be ready by October this year and the health club-cum-spa will also be operational by year end. The resort will be promoted as an ultimate ‘weekend getaway’ destination in the NCR territory and will target corporate groups, lifestyle travellers, inbound tourists and weekend family groups.

Talking to TravelBiz Monitor, Sandeep Vohra, General Manager, Heritage Village Manesar said, “Heritage Village Manesar is a high-end luxury resort. The architecture is on the lines of the palatial havelis of Rajasthan and Haryana. The resort attracts all kinds of tourists. But now we are aiming at drawing more of family and corporate groups to promote our resort as a complete weekend getaway.”

Heritage Village Manesar has also adopted eco-friendly measures. The resort uses water sensors and light sensors to minimise water and power wastage. Other eco-friendly practices include usage of solar panels for hot water, minimal use of chemicals, recycled paper and rainwater harvesting. “Heritage Village Manesar is based on an eco-friendly model. Considering our very theme is heritage palaces of Rajasthan and Haryana, we construct only one storey to keep the resort in sync with nature and also to give priority to safety. We are as nature-friendly as possible in the day to day running of the resort. Now we are also adding a fruit orchard on 12 acres within the property area, so that we can use self-grown vegetables and fruits in the kitchen,” concluded Vohra.
