Airnetz launches its aircraft sales division

According to a PTI report, Airnetz Aviation, private jet and helicopter services provider launched its aircraft sales division yesterday to serve India’s growing market of private aviation enthusiasts. As per the company statement, the aircraft available in the inventory ranges from a two-seater micro-glider plane to a 14-seater heavy jet aircraft. The price range of Airnetz's pre-owned aircraft range from Rs eight-35 lakh for micro-gliders, Rs 40 lakh to Rs two crore for single and twin piston, Rs one crore onwards for helicopters and Rs four crore onwards for jets.

Omkar Mestry, Chief Operating Officer, Airnetz Aviation said, “Due to economic recession in America and Europe, there is a growing inventory of aircraft available at cheap prices. India's aviation enthusiasts can get good prices in the market according to their budget. Prices for private aircraft have dropped by up to 50 per cent in the last few months.” Akram Baig, Consultant, Airnetz said that the company would manage the entire process of ordering the aircraft to getting DGCA approval and allotting parking lots for the same.
