Kuoni Holidays to roll out eight flagship luxury stores in India by 2009 end

Kuoni Holidays will roll out eight flagship luxury stores in India by 2009 end, to cater to high-end luxury clientele. The eight stores will be located in cities like Mumbai, New-Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Noida, Hyderabad and Chennai. These luxury stores will enable travellers to inquire and also book packages to various destinations, making the process of choosing holiday destinations more personal, comfortable and enjoyable. “The first store will commence operations in Mumbai by September this year, whereas all the other seven stores will be operational by 2009 end,” said Nishant Kashikar, Head Outbound Marketing, Kuoni Holidays.

Kuoni Holidays has appointed German interior Armin Fischer, the founder of 3Meta Design, to give an exclusive touch to the luxury stores. Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Armin Fischer, Founder, 3Meta Design said, “The idea is to build an exclusive store to attract clients and also give an at home kind of feel.” For Kuoni Holidays flagship stores, Fischer intends to give a classy Indian mixed with modern European style. Armin Fischer has also designed the Kuoni Future Lab in Zurich, Switzerland.
