Le Logiciel launches Le Tourister software for tour operators

Kerala-based IT company, Le Logiciel recently launched Le Tourister, tour management software that has been specially designed for tour operators. The product mainly offers web-based solutions, which will enhance the quality of tour operators’ businesses. Le Tourister, targeted at tour operators, aims to reduce their day to day tasks, thus save on time and cut costs. According to company sources, the software provides Internet marketing assistance and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for tour operators.

Referring to Internet marketing assistance, Shyam S Pillai, Technical Director, Le Logiciel said that they are offering marketing assistance to tour operators through the Internet in two categories: normal search engine optimisation and pay per click. “In the first category, we will promote tour products on the Internet with keywords, thus allowing users to view requested tour products of various tour operators in the first twenty search engine listings (answers). The pay per click category will promote tour products through Google AdWords. We are also providing various web-based solutions to the clients under ERP,” informed Pillai.

Le Tourister provides web-based services such as contact management, sales support and tracking and product and package development. In addition to this, Le Tourister gives software support to fiscal management, pricing, inventory, vendor, contract management and statistical reporting. It also assists tour operators to follow request of vendors, final payment of customers and track accounts of tour operators.

Terming Le Tourister as a ‘cost-effective system’ for tour operators, Binoy P, Managing Director, Le Logiciel said, “The main objective of its launch is to cater to the needs of today’s growing travel industry. We will market the product through tour operators and travel marts. We are planning to attend Travel Trade Fair (TTF) 2009 in Bangalore next month and India International Travel Mart (IITM) Kochi in February 2009.”
