Travel Designer India to expand in overseas market

Ahmedabad-based,which caters to the B2B segment, plans to expand its base in the international market by opening a new company in Mauritius by next month. It will also open an office in Bangalore by September this year. The new company in Mauritius will be called Designer Holidays Company Ltd. and will be a subsidiary of Travel Designer India Pvt. Ltd. Possibilities for expanding in the Middle East market, are also being considered and plans are being discussed for the same. Currently, Travel Designer India has presence in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and New Delhi.

Designer Holidays Company Ltd. in Mauritius will initially handle the inbound market, for the B2B segment only. It will start operations by catering to a network of 750 agents across India who currently work under Travel Designer India Pvt. Ltd. Jaal Shah, Managing Director, Travel Designer India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We have applied for the license for inbound operations, which will come through by next month. Our website will be operational by year end. “We want to cater to B2B only, because we have a strong presence in that segment,” added Shah.
